It is you

that gets me up

draws me out

prepares the way

for a new day

As I Breathlessly round the first bend with a view

I wonder what new water way you will display.

Intrigued

by your sagey green coat,

your  turquoise vest,

or your milky blue dress.

Enchanted

by your snow capped mountains,

whispy clouds

or gentle beams of light

that touch that touch your watery womb.

Delighted

by your endless curves, 

pyramid peaks and tidal flats.

Captivated

by your serene stillness

that lies beneath

the changing displays.

No matter where I roam you call me home.

Home to deeper than the known.
