Lay Me Down

This body mind and heart is going through a dark night of the soul.

The only true voice beckoning me is that of mother earth.

I began to sleep in my tent in the backyard.

To truly sleep with my back to earth mother. Nestled all night long in her embrace.

The agitated nervous system and the sleeplessness all surrendered to her loving healing arms.

Gradually gradually sleep has come and softness has come.

I go to bed at dusk and rise at dawn.

Today I did wake early and I lay relaxed listening and breathing.

With each in-breathe the cicadas' song entering and rejuvenating all the cells.

With each out-breathe The All that I am entering All of creation.

Until all in and out dissolved into the powerful presence I Am.
